Introduction	I'm a 29 year old wannabe woodworker with an interest in building beautiful things from wood. I got started building simple boxes out of MDF and plywood which I used to house many lizards and snakes which I kept as a private reptile keeper. Along the way, I got bitten by the bug to build with real timbers, but have only really had the time and money to research tools and techniques, rather than actually building anything. I've been fortunate recently to invest some money into tools which will enable me to 'set up shop' and put into practice all the skills I've been researching. I'm reasonably handy with 'construction' type projects, but in terms of fine woodworking skills, I'm a complete novice. As an admirer of fine quality tools, powered and non-powered, I decided I would wait and save to buy the high-end tools I wanted, rather than buy tools which might be of less quality and potentially frustrating to a woodworker who's only starting to learn the skills (and learning alone). This blog is a way for me to document my learning and share experiences with other like minded people. I'll also be posting plenty about the tools which I've got in my collection.
