| Introduction | I am Shiela and I am the mother of Duchess of Stitches. This started as a project in first year high school, literally. Then for some reason, I got hooked and before I know it, I couldn’t stop myself from cross stitching. I then started to realize that I love colors but I don’t seem to have the talent for brush. That is when I decided to pursue my love for cross stitch. People in the old times said that a needlework is a work of art without the paint. It is true, for I create masterpieces using colorful threads. Then one day, while surfing the net, I stumbled upon Kanzashi. These are hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles (as per Wiki. ^_^) This to me, opened a whole new world of creativity, colors, and artistic whims. Hope you will like my creations, maybe not as much I love them, but close, or maybe more. Who knows? |
