| Introduction | My background spans 20 years of creating, building and managing innovative marketing programs. I've lived in Silicon Valley since 1991. I've worked "in-house" for several companies and ran my own design & creative services business for several years. I've worked with companies ranging from start-ups in early-stage through IPO to global corporations with multiple geos, products lines and markets. A "Jack-of-all-Markets", my target markets have ranged from consumer to enterprise, with markets that have included high-tech hardware & software, telecom, medical equipment, and semiconductor manufacturing. -------- About the yaMarketingGoomer tag -- "Goomer" is a term that was used frequently by Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies. While you could analyze her usage or the linguistic history, I look at the term as similar to the modern California use of the word "Dude". My friends and I began using the term while playing Warcraft to refer to workers that gathered the resources, did the base construction work, and set the foundation to enable the other aspects of the game. |
