Introduction	Jadeas Trust is an educational and cultural foundation that recognizes that the twin pillars of education and culture are Africa's best hope for leap frogging the ever deepening development divide, and taking its rightful position in the 21st century. Established by two lifelong educationists, Emeritus Prof and Mrs. J.F Ade-Ajayi, the foundation which is a family held trust, has been involved in and spear headed some projects, that make a modest contribution to the domestic and global dialogue in these areas. Some of Jadeas Trust past and ongoing projects include the Jadeas library in Ibadan,Nigeria - production of Pan African cultural events as well as scholarships for deserving students at secondary, tertiary and post graduate levels . To realize the full potential of Africa's many resources, it is crucial that we recognize and draw upon the creative energies of African peoples on the continent and in diaspora. Jadeas Trust is committed to this process as a long term goal.
