| Introduction | I am a young new mother (my daughter T is one year) and I have been married for two years. I have a BA in English and minors in editing and the humanities. Consequently I love literature and the written word. My husband, DH, is in his first year of his first post-college job as a financial planner. Life is hard and good. We are both religious and politically conservative. However we like to think that we are open to hearing both sides before making a decision. Although I have my degree, one of my biggest regrets is not using college more to my advantage while I was there. Thus I am a huge believer in and fan of life-long learning. Although I sometimes get a little worn out from constantly stretching myself to learn all I feel I need to in the short time we have here, I love learning and am always reaching to become the person I'd like to be when I finally "grow up." |
