Introduction	I was born and raised in Maryland. I moved to Virginia in 2003 when I became a school teacher. I met my husband, Scott in high school and we became the best of friends in our early 20's. We began dating in 2004 and were married in 2007. I named my blog, A Hopeful Help-meet because I truly believe that I am my husband's help-meet in our every day life. As we continue our marriage journey, I am hopeful to see what blessings the Lord has in store for our lives.
Interests	I like to:read,take walks,hike,kayak,coupon shop,and spend time with family and friends.Work out to "Walk away the pounds" dvds. I also love to buy candles, tarts, plug ins.(anything that can make the house smell good)
Favorite movies	Anne of Green Gables, Father of the Bride part I, Pollyanna.
Favorite music	I like a bit of everything when it comes to music except for heavy metal or rap. I like Christian contemporary, hymns, Sovereign grace, Country,Jazz, classical.....
Favorite books	I have read almost all of Jane Austen's books and love her style of writing. I also love the Chronicles of Narnia!
