Introduction	One of my favorite short stories is, "The Gold bug" by Edgar Allen Poe. I like a mystery. Add a secret code, pirates and skulls in trees and it adds up to a great story. Unfortunately, I can't hide skulls and golden scarabs in downtown New Orleans but I can create a little mystery that maybe challenges your knowledge of our little town. I hope you have fun with it.
