Introduction	The initial rush of excitement of the new life is over and now it's time to get down to the business of being retired. Actually, I am writing on a daily basis and has aspirations of writing as my new career. My focus is a balancing act of thrillers in this reality and what may await us in the future. Military science fiction is the most pronounced of my current projects, but will keep you posted as new contingencies and tangents begin to poke their pointed little heads out.

Favorite music	Music has always been a big part of my life and is integrated into all levels of my writing. As such the variety that plays through my speakers taxes my poor iPod on a daily basis. Phillip Sparke plays along side Cold Blood; the soundtracks of Halo co-mingle with the likes of John Williams and Pink Floyd; the sounds of ELP bounce off the soaring notes of Yes; and Dave Matthews, the Boss, and Sting gather about the campfire with David Holsinger. Now take you pick, it's all there.
