Introduction	DemocracyFail, which began life on Twitter in September 2010, was inspired by Will Hutton’s passionate Observer article about the "Berlusconisation" of Britain. Who we are is everyone who joins us: i.e. individuals from different walks of life and political persuasions who care about democratic values. We are independent and not affiliated to any other organisation, but happy to liaise with any other group who share our concerns and goals.
