| Introduction | I was born in Texas but only started learning English when I entered elementary school. This is why I am partial to ESOL students. I know how hard it is to learn a new language in a new culture. Nevertheless, I have had an exciting and fulfilling life. I have done many exciting things in life. I have worked in Hollywood doing makeup for the stars, taught etiquette and wardrobe management, plus co-authored a book. I have traveled to many parts of the world doing and learning what ever I fancied; even though, life itself has a way of teaching us new things that we never wanted to learn. As far as teaching, I have been teaching since 1994. I have taught second through fifth, ninth through twelfth, and college. This year I will be teaching third grade. |
