| Introduction | I was born in the eight biggest city in Latvia called Jekabpils. I had lived there all my life until university. Since Latvia entered the European Union, the world was closer and the opportunities - more tangible. I was part of Erasmus and Erasmus+ programs, which took me to France and Slovenia. I feel Latvian in my heart, but I was never a typical one, and with time I moved even further from that. Same as with my travels and life experiences - there is so much to witness that you shouldn't think about belonging in one particular box - the world is diverse, and you don't have to impress it. You get impressed yourself. Don't be afraid to move, travel, widen your horizons, and learn - for the right reasons it will all come together. |
