| Introduction | Brian Mazo, a freelance writer and NYU Film School graduate, has been writing professionally for over ten years. He has two produced feature films to his credit: “The Mailman” and “Cut Off”. The latter film, starring Malcolm McDowell and Faye Dunaway, won ‘Best Picture’ at the BiNational Film Festival; both pictures were distributed by Anchor Bay. He has sold almost ten more feature scripts for future production. Mazo’s prose has appeared in a number of newspapers including the LA Weekly, the Los Angeles Journal and he was a regular contributor to the LA Alternative and Ostrich Ink; he had his first regular column at the age of thirteen. He has completed a short story collection entitled “A Rose by Any Other Name” and is working on a memoirs, “I am the Stuff of Legends or Why I Love 9/11” as well as a novel entitled “Live Fast!
