| Introduction | I am married 22 years to Buck. We have a daughter, Amanda, age 21,a son, Jake age 18 and a dog, Peanut! Both kids are in college. I've worked at Duke Energy for 25 years. I love my church, Flint Groves Baptist and my church family. I sing on praise team, work on worship planning/drama teams, women's ministry and College and Careers class. Staying busy makes me happy. I've recently lost 70 lbs and still have 30 to go! I want to be a person that illuminates Jesus. I struggle with that at baseball games! That's where I'm tested the most. I'm praying! There are many things I'd love to learn how to do like cake decorating, sewing, public speaking, etc. but I have learned to be content! I love my life and that I am the way I am, created for a purpose. I try to grab hold of all the opportunities the Lord gives me and use each one to bring glory and honor to Him. I want my kids to live out their dreams because God is the one that put it in them. He equips us when we totally trust Him. I love seeing this play out in my own life! My favorite scripture (today) is Psalm 91. I have true joy because I have peace in knowing that I am safe and secure not matter what happens. |

| Favorite music | I love upbeat worship music. I don't think there will be sad songs in heaven! My favorite artist is Travis Cottrell. Music is a huge part of my life. |
| Favorite books | 90 minutes in Heaven, The Dream Giver, Purpose Driven Life, and anything by Beth Moore. I love to read! |
