Introduction	I am a college student who is passionately pursuing a degree in social work while also learning what it means to be a big sister to kids from "hard places". When I was 8-years-old, my family jumped into the crazy foster care world, opening up our home to many vulnerable children over a ten-year time span. Through those years, the Lord softened my heart towards these kids' needs and confirmed a clear calling in my life to serve them. I now live life with my two incredible parents, three older biological sisters, and my four little siblings whom we adopted through the foster care system. As I seek to advocate on behalf of the vulnerable children in our world, I am slowly learning the need to abandon my desires and submit fully to His will.
