| Introduction | From the staff at Madame Toujours' Matters of the Heart: We consider ourselves privileged to work for Europe's foremost matchmaker and femme fatale. After nearly nine decades--as nearly as we can tell based on her own reports of her adventures--the Grande Dame has retired to the states to gift us poor yanks with the benefits of her extensive experience in les affairs du cour. Actually, we're not entirely sure we believe all her stories about assassinating foreign potentates and German generals during WWI. We're not even sure she is actually French. Vanessa in Accounting took a year of French in high-school, and she says Madame's accent sounds fake to her, but Vanessa doesn't sign our paychecks, so we don't pay too much attention.
