Introduction	As young women we want to be who we are but don't want to conform to the ideological view that women are either/or. for our freedom years allows us to investigate this ethos; it deconstructs the standardisation imposed on women in order to both critique and embrace popular models of normative femininity. for our freedom years exploits the idea that all women share the same ideals, beliefs and problems in order to re evaluate how we as young women feel about what we are supposed to represent and the women we are meant to be.
