Introduction	I live in southern Germany but spend part of every year in Nova Scotia, Canada, as well, flying across the Atlantic each year with two cats. I am a Canadian woman who came to Germany to work for the Canadian Forces Hospital and remained here when the Canadian military closed their base in Lahr. I wrote short travel articles for the base newspaper, Der Kanadier, for several years. I also had several short articles (Letter from...) published in The Globe and Mail.
Interests	reading,writing,travel,good food and wine. I have a huge collection of cookbooks, both here and in Nova Scotia, along with thousands of recipes in folders.
Favorite movies	Ones with a story, no violence and rude words just for the sake of the words
Favorite music	I love German folk music, popular music that has a melody and isn't loud, country music and some opera as well
Favorite books	I like many types of books, including autobiographies, memoirs, mystery/detective, and novels that not only tell a story but have interesting information to impart. I browse cookbooks just for the pleasure, so have many that are filled with more than just recipes.
