Introduction	Shakti means force, empowerment. It isn't who I am, but I'm hoping it's what I have. I lost my firstborn daughter in May of 2009, while recovering from the c-section to deliver my second baby. I created a blog in the hopes of helping other parents who've lost children, at least to help them know their feelings are normal and shared by others.
