| Introduction | We're planting a church in Philly! Right now, we're still at the very beginning of casting vision, gathering a team, and praying all the time. (Every phase of church planting will include that last step). We thought we'd blog from the time between our first Vision Meeting until Easter about our lives and our vision. We don't mean to be narcissistic, but many of the people considering joining our team haven't known us for very long (like, some are averaging "I hung out with the Goekes once for about two hours,") so this is just a way for people to get to know us. We'll blog stories about our life, prayers for the plant and the city, book reviews, deep theological thoughts, and stuff we love about Philly! It'll only last for 2 months, so we hope you enjoy it! |
