| Introduction | In December of 2010 my husband and I were looking for a new apartment when we stumbled on an open house. Mostly out of curiosity we decided to take a tour of that nicely restored home from the 1900s. Its character was intact and we fell in love with it. We ran the numbers and ended up putting an offer on that house. Unfortunately the offer fell through. That home wasn’t meant to be ours, but the experience got our home-ownership dreams started. We have been spending most of hour weekends house hunting ever since until we found the perfect house. A lot of you would call it a tear-down, but we cannot wait to turn it into home sweet home. |
