| Introduction | I have over 40 years experience in the electronics and computer fields.
I also spent more than 25 years in law enforcement. In electronics I did design, installation and trouble shooting of hardware and software for special systems. Audio, video, fire alarm, time and attendance, parking, security, access control, and building automation are among the systems I have experience with. In law enforcement, I did underwater search and recovery, firearms instruction, and management of a special service unit. Now, I do consulting, design and programming for hardware and software to solve unique problems. I develop custom reports and interfaces for databases used for accounting and payroll systems. I also help companies move to GNU/Linux based systems. Providing help with application choices, support, and training for users. Moving and reformatting data from existing systems to new systems is a specialty that I also provide. Everything from office documents to large databases can be handled. Some of my hobbies are; sport diving, photography, audio production, micro controllers, plastic welding, and amateur radio. |
