| Introduction | I am a Maine native, born and raised in Maine. I fell into woodworking after seeing my house being built by a man who knew his stuff. I am self taught and have more to learn. I needed a hobby, so my wife says, and now instead of working all the time I work and then I work in my wood shop. I have seen most of the wood I use from tree, to kiln, and then to my shop. I can tell you where most of the wood was cut when it was a tree. I enjoy seeing it made into something beautiful and coming to life with the stains and preservatives I use. I enjoy this hobby very much. |
