Introduction	My name is Kristen Marchant and am a first year pro triathlete. I started competing in triathlons in 2012 after doing a lot of cross training through a tibial stress fracture. I fell in love with the sport quickly, and after 3 years competing in the age group ranks I felt I was ready to step it up and race with the pros. 2015 marks the start of this journey, which is sure to be exciting, if not stressful at times, and I am looking forward to every day that allows me to follow my passion.
