Introduction	I am a Bahraini chef-to-be living in the states. I love cooking and experimenting with food, the kitchen is my lab. I don’t consider myself being a top notch epicure, nor a fanatical foodie. An epicure is someone with refined taste which develops a sharp palate for the enjoyment of food. The word epicure is a synonym for Gourmet. An epicure/gourmet may or may not be qualified experts in the food industry. A foodie is someone who is considered to be an amateur who simply loves food for consumption. Foodies also want to learn everything about food, even the science. A simple example explaining the difference, a foodie may use garlic salt, whereas a gourmet must ONLY use freshly chopped garlic. Now what am I? I like to take a bit of both.
