Introduction	Last Thanksgiving (2011),my family and I moved from a small town in Kansas to upstate New York, right outside of the Adirondacks. We are here soaking up everything: nature, family, mountain air, the fresh smell of pine and the goodness of our Creator. We are also learning to live a life less dependent on merchandise and commercialism and more dependent on the work of our hands, the beauty and nature around us and most importantly, on our Heavenly Father. All I can say is that life is so much more extraordinary that I ever thought possible. My ramblings are here for your enjoyment. I hope to share my renewed love for life and the beauty that is as close as our back yard and my new found interest in the "how" and "why" things are the way they are.
