Introduction I'm still in school, working toward some degree that can actually land me the dream job. I love legal issues and writing, but I don't want to be a lawyer (anymore). If there is a God, then I'd eventually become a writer. Books would be fun to write, if by fun you mean tedious and exhausting, but I think I could be open to that challenge. Then of course there are the screen plays, sitcoms and other gigs I could do, simply by selling my soul and writing what I'm told. Not that I'm complaining. I just want to write. For me, for others, for whatever. Hence the blog. I'm hoping that a daily commitment to putting my thoughts down will help me focus my writings into coherent structures. I'm not a comedian. I'm not a CNN corespondent (they're funny too, right?). I don't know what I want to write about, only the cold hard truth that I want to write. Obviously this makes me an ideal candidate for the unemployment office (they'll freakin' love me!), but I want to try this experiment to see if I even have what it takes. Indulge me.
Interests current events, US Supreme Court, music, pop culture, movies, useless facts, off-putting humor, using words like "off-putting", good grammar (with the exception of online postings and texts), yelling "Time for Change" when surrounded by right wingers, debating issues, making people laugh, being sporadic
Favorite Movies I love them all, mostly. Absurd, off-the-wall movie references are some of my favorites. I also like mainstream, so suck it.
Favorite Music Anything that sounds good. I like what I like, because my brain tells me so. Mariah is my personal savior, but I have my reasons. With that being said, I'll listen to all forms of music. I'm not just a one trick pony. (Isn't that the name of some god awful country band?)
Favorite Books Really enjoy the styles of David Sedaris and Chelsea Handler. I justify my choices here, because they each write on a conversational level that I don't find demeaning or pandering. No, they always have a dialogue with the reader, and I can appreciate that.
