| Introduction | I retired on 11/14/11 and my husband of nearly 50 years retired on 1/27/12. Over the years I have worked in the employment arena as the personal secretary to the Manager of an insurance company, a legal secretary, a court reporter transcriber and medical/secretary transcriptionist. In addition to working outside the home, my husband and I have been caregivers in our home for my Aunt June for 24 years before she died in May of 2010, and now we continue to care for his 91-year-old mother who suffers from progressive Alzheimer's Disease. And yes, life has been quite a challenge and very, very restrictive. Our children are grown and have grown childen of their own now! In fact, our oldest granddaughter will graduate from college this coming May and our grandson is a Marine; we still have three other grandchildren coming up through the ranks. But now, I want to turn over a new leaf in life and hope to become a passionate writer, one that writes so you feel you are in the middle of the text itself. I hope to touch the hearts of many and I hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoyed writing it. |
| Interests | Church, Family, Reading, Fishing, Kayaking, Cooking, Writing(books/poetry/songs). However, I am in the process of publishing my first volume of my personal writings. It should be on the market around the first part of August. |
