Introduction	My knowledge of politics and government is very minimal, and while I've always felt left out when converstaions turn toward that subject, it's never really bothered me. I'm hoping that changes with this government class. While I've exercised my right to vote since I was eighteen, I only did it because I could. I don't actually feel like it makes a difference. Not in Texas anyway. The ideology "test" says I'm liberal,and I would say that's probably accurate, but I don't think I know enough about whats going on to classify myself as one or the other. I'd like to walk away from this with a little more knowledege about what is going on in the real world.
