Introduction	This is an online community created by the advertising students associated with Gigi Taylor's Account Planning class at Texas State University. Account planning is a relative new discipline within advertising agencies. Originating in the UK, account planning is the practice of discovering consumer insights for advertising strategy. The students currently enrolled in the class are all upper division advertising majors. Gigi Taylor is a former account planner at Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco. Gigi currently works as a freelance strategic planner based in Austin, Texas. She received her Ph.D. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
