| Introduction | Many years after escaping from the Soviet re-occupation of my homeland, living in relative comfort and security of the oldest democracy of the world,I feel compelled to share with you some of my past and present experience, so that our future may be somewhat guided, guarded by them. |
| Interests | Intellectual and physical activity in more or less equal measure. I am an intense political animal and have been from my early teens to the present day. I believe that "politics" means a keen interest in the structured environment in which we live.Wether it's a comfortable, democratic society, a fermenting social democracy or a brutal dictatorship from where I have escaped at the age of 18. Man doesn't live by politics alone.We need to find unselfish pleasure enjoying the creative genius of man in letters and music. We need to look after the physical needs of our bodies so that our mind can function well.Hence my daily preoccupation with some form of physical exertion. My favorite sports are fencing, tennis and swimming and I thank the Lord to be able to pursue all three to this day. |
