Introduction	Having grown up in a town almost completely devoid of good urban design and any historic character, I have focused my education and career on placemaking. I have an undergraduate degree in Social Science with a certificate in Planning and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, both from Florida State University. I am constantly inspired by the beachside “new town” of Seaside in Walton County, Florida, as well as traditional town planning by folks such as John Nolen. With the exception of Fernandina Beach in the northeast corner of the state, it may be one of the most perfect places I have experienced.
Favorite books	Pride and Prejudice. I've read it hundreds of times, and I still can't get enough.
