Introduction	I live on a small farm in Southeast Missouri with all of the characters from "Stories from Black Dog Ranch". I grew up on a big farm and as a child I had dogs, horses and cats plus all sorts of other farm animals. I guess that is where it all started, my love for animals and feeling like I had a special connection with them. I spend most of my spare time now doing what I can to help those animals out there that have been forgotten....
Interests	I love to spend time on my farm with my dogs and horses, I love to horseback ride and go camping with my family, I like to write stories about all the animals I have known and loved over the years.
Favorite movies	I loved Eight Below that is where Mia the star of my book got her name, I like funny movies and adventure movies like Indiana Jones.
Favorite music	I like all kinds of music, country, pop, rock, christian, blues, and jazz. I play country music on the guitar and try to sing too.
Favorite books	Any books about animals, non-fiction books, inspirational books, I love all of Max Lucado's books.
