IntroductionMy Dad has taught me many ways to catch fish. I enjoy them all - especially flyfishing and lure fishing. Perch have become a big favourite of mine and I've been lucky enough to catch 13 over 4lbs, the biggest weighing 4lb 12oz. Our holidays usually include fishing too and I've caught some exotic fish such as Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Roosterfish, Dorado, Giant Trevally, Snook and Peacock Bass. My biggest fish on a fly is an 130lb Sailfish caught in Costa Rica. I love catching fish on flies and so far caught 75 species on fly, 173 on lures and 228 on all tackle. I'm a consultant for Fox Rage and Salmo Lures and an ambassador for the Angling Trust. In 2010 I fished in the England Youth National Flyfishing Championship - I won the match and became National Champion. Since then I've represented England twice in Flyfishing, winning Gold at the Youth International on Lough Owel in Ireland in 2012. In 2013 I was selected to be a part of the first ever Team England Lure Squad and have represented the nation in the Lure Fishing World Championships on three occasions. The picture above is my P.B Pike of 30lb 2oz, caught on the fly.
