| Introduction | I'm an experienced journalist and a real news and gadget junkie. I live in north Norfolk with my family and after being made redundant by a national volunteering charity in 2011 I have set my own business up, Poppyland PR, running campaigns for organisations, mostly charities, and I'm also a freelance writer and editor. I volunteer for The NAS on one of their helplines which is the most rewarding thing I've ever done (apart from being a mum of two wonderful girls) and I'm a peer mentor for them also. |
| Interests | My pets, which include 17 chickens, four cats, two dogs, a rabbit, two snakes and an axolotl. I'm really passionate about social media as a key tool for communication, hence the title of this blog 'Musings of a Techno Chook', combining my love of my chickens and gadgets. |
