| Introduction | About me: I am "The Queen of Junky Chic" decorating!I have been a music teacher for 15 but I am also passionate about junk and antiques, interior decorating, collecting vintage things, and creating a beautiful home environment for less in "Flea Market Style" using mostly second-hand, rummage sale and vintage items. In this blog I share my decorating ideas and projects using "funky junk" and "trashy treasures," in addition to blogging about gardening, landscape design, genealogy, preserving and creating family traditions, health and spirituality. My motto regarding decorating and home life is, "There is an art to living!" I view my home as a blank canvas; the property itself, including landscaping, interiors, and furnishings(in addition to the love and memories) blend together to form a masterpiece where my family and I are the artists. I am dealing with the devastating effects of Chronic Lyme Disease, Systemic Lupus Erythematosis and MS, but I choose to view each day as a gift and I find much joy in blogging.
