Introduction	I am Jessica Selva, a graduate journalism student at USC and a salsera. I have been dancing salsa for nearly five years and used to perform with Salsa Club of UCR's performance team. (UCR stands for the University of California, Riverside.) Now, with this blog, I am combining my two loves--writing and salsa. While I'm doing this for a class, I hope that this blog will attract other readers as well. My goal is to provide some enlightening information about the L.A. salsa scene.
