| Introduction | I am a writer, scholar, activist and educator who loves hip hop to its rotten core. I am also a self-proclaimed hip hop feminist who runs rites of passage programs for African American youth. I currently work in Public Health and Youth Development and am completing a post-doc research study on youth organizing.
