| Introduction | I am a non-traditional student at Johnson Bible College. I'm currently in my last semester there and will miss it when I graduate in May, but until that point I am loving it! Before coming to JBC I spent 6 years in the Army National Guard in Florida as a Chaplain's Assistant. I had the great opportunity to meet people from all over the country, and around the world, during my time in service, but the "Army way" just wasn't for me, so we parted ways when my contract was up. I also completed my Associates of Arts degree before going to JBC. I have been a volunteer youth worker since shortly after coming back to the Church in 2002; after a few "Prodigal" years. I feel blessed to have been able to work with and get to know the students who have allowed me to be a part of their lives. I have also had the opportunity to do internships at North Madison Christian Church (Madison, In), and Shirley Christian Church (Shirley, In). And I am currently a youth sponsor at Harvest Christian Church here in Knoxville, Tn. |
| Interests | The Bible, theology, archaeology, marine biology, history, military (history, tactics, operations, etc), swimming/snorkeling, and hopefully soon, SCUBA, rock climbing, hiking, camping, canoeing |
| Favorite movies | I watch and love way too many movies to feel like any list on here would be comprehensive or exhaustive! So just ask me, haha! |
| Favorite music | I love music (although I am horrible at matching up songs with artists!)... Some of my favorites are Newsboys, Seabird, Relient K, Sanctus Real, Billy Joel, The Afters, John Waller, Mark Schultz |
| Favorite books | The Bible. And many others on topics that are interesting to me. |
