| Introduction | Ian Johnston is a Southern Utah University graduate that has worked as an Animation / Illustration Director, lead character animator, motion picture and commercial storyboard artist, character designer, illustrator, caricature artist, and as a father of three. Clients he has animated for include Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, MTV, Universal, Sierra, 8fish, and DC, among others. He has also directed and animated for over a dozen TV spots which include Blissium, PPL Energy Plus, Utah Power, Mazda, Stronger Marriages.org, and Verizon. He has also worked in the video game industry for over 6 years as an animator on 16 titles, 12 of which have shipped. Ian is also a published comic book illustrator of the series “Clipstick” for Ape Entertainment for which he is the creator / co-writer and penciler. He designed and illustrated for various children’s books overseas and has designed / illustrated the covers for several books including “Above the Clouds”, a Utah best seller. |
