Introduction	Sam and I went to Kahuku High School together and both graduated class of 1999! Although we saw each other every morning in Seminary, we never dated until he returned from serving his mission in the Philippines. When he returned home, we started hanging out as friends (though Sam had other plans), and 8 months later we were engaged...this past June we celebrated 6 happy years of marriage! During this time, Sam and I both graduated from BYU-Hawaii, Lethe with a degree in Elementary & Special Education (2003), and Sam with a degree in International Business Management (2006). Lethe has now been a Preschool Special Education Teacher for 6 years now, which she loves! Sam is a Warehouse Manager at the Polynesian Cultural Center by day and a Musician there by night. He plays the Hawaiian Steel Guitar, along with his father and 2 brothers. In April of 2006 we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Elia Ku'uleinanimaikapolionalani Kiyoko Cheney, who is now 2.5 years old and Mika Emi Hi'ileinani Cheney who was born on Sept. 1, 2008. Both of our daughters were adopted through LDS family services and we can attest that adoption is truly about LOVE!
