| Introduction | I am the mother of Miracles! My heros are my sons! My first was born at 35 weeks with Gastroschisis and has endure more in his first year of life than most people endure in their entire lifetimes. He is the light of my life and always has a smile on his perfect face. The bond I share with him is stronger than anything I've experienced because of all we've been through. "The strongest steel is put through the hottest fire". My second was born at 33 weeks and surprised us all with his strength and determination. He came into this world able to breath on his own and needed no assistance. He spend the first 3 weeks of his life developing the strength and learning needed to eat. Because of his prematurity, he sustained a grade 2 IVH. He is thriving and growing more than anyone could have hoped for. Through all of this, my husband has been my strength! He is my rock and is the most amazing father to our sons. He truly is my other half - I am no longer complete without him. |
