| Introduction | Well Ive been trying to conceive for many years and hope that this time is it. I was married for 13 years and for most of that time we were contraceptive free. After we broke up it took me a long time to find someone and here we are 6 fresh ivf cycles, 5 negatives (peering for a line that never appeared) and 1 positive which resulted in a miscarriage. Weve been trying since I was 37 and Im 43 now and this may be my last try. This will not be a fresh cycle but rather a frozen embryo transfer as we managed to freeze two blasts over the last two cycles. That means less drugs, no invasive surgery and hopefully a good result. I want to share this process as during treatment I have benefitted from hearning the stories of others. At such a vulnerable time you look to other to ease your worries and to compare your experiences. Anyone who takes this path / embarks on this journey is a brave and special person and I wish you well. Peace. x |
