| Introduction | I am a drummer and drummer-teacher, who have developed an in-depth study of the instrument with Massimo Caracca and Carlo Virzi, as well as by carrying out “laboratories” and ensemble-music courses provided by different musicians amongst whom Stefano Solani and Simone Massaron.During the course of the 90’, I have been a member of different rock bands, and since the year 2000 I am involved in different research projects in the areas of free-jazz(Stato stuporoso), reading-groups(Nippon & the Symbol),experimental rock(I/O),swing band(Marco Castelli),orchestra (S.P.I.O) and various jazz band. I have projected and realized the sound for silent-films: with Press Trio, “Nosferatu” by F.W.Murnau;the short-movies "In the park" by Charles Chaplin and "The high sign" by Buster Keaton; with Freeze Frames Quartet, “Celovek s kinoapparatum” by Dziga Vertov and "Goodnight,Nurse" by Roscoe Arbuckle. Recently, with Marco Franceschetti and Sergio Prada I have grounded the improvisation trio Fyodor D. I am part of the Nido Workshop,Lu.Pi. Ensemble and VociSuonieParole project. I have been a drummer-teacher at CIMAS (Centro Interdisciplinare Musica Arte e Spettacolo. |
