| Introduction | I love to tell stories. Since 2010, I have published three novels (The Sickness, The Ripple, The Darkness), an illustrated mystery series, a short story, a faith-based parable, and "The Church Experiment," a collection of my experiences visiting 52 religious gatherings in 52 weeks.
I host Communication Junkie, a podcast about improving communication skills and interpersonal relationships. I'm proud to work as a Communication Professor at my alma mater, the University of Cincinnati. I also serve as our program's undergraduate director. I co-created Good vs Gooder, a family-friendly party game in which players debate two good things to determine which one is gooder. My hobbies include obsessing about things out of my control, eating Graeter's ice cream, having my heart perpetually broken by Cincinnati sports, and getting angry at strangers on social media. |
