| Introduction | I have a B.A. with double major in Philosophy and Classical Civilization. I also have a second B.A. in Latin. I used to be a casual Liberal and was the chairman of the Earth Day Committee at Eckerd College in 1990. That experience along with others made me start to question Liberalism. By 1992 I was an independant leaning right, though I favored Tsongas. A few years later and I was an avowed Conservative; and so I am today. I have a strong affinity for Anthropolgy. For example, I am confident that a proper human diet is one that resembles the diet of paleolithic man. I think Postmodernism is, frankly, stupid, but worse, dangerous. I am not really sure that Ethics has made much progress since Aristotle -- mostly we have just expanded Athenian landowning males to include pretty much everybody. Kant did alot (yes "alot is alright": google it) to give philosophical expression to ideas that nobody really needs explained; but we are lucky that he did.
