| Introduction | He received M. Pharm from VLCP, Raichur and PhD at JNTU, Hyderabad, in Pharmaceutical Sciences on the topic ‘Silver Nanoparticles as Drug Delivery Systems’. Currently working as Professor In-charge and HOD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, in HKES’s Matoshree Taradevi Rampure Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Gulbarga. He worked as research assistant in many projects funded by UGC, DST and BRNS major projects. Apart from 11 years of research and teaching experience, he has the full backing knowledge about the medicinal chemistry as he has worked in the field of Quality Assurance, Bulk Drug Manufacturing, Formulation, Quality Control, Product Research & Development. In Research field, he received quite a good encouragement and appreciation in the form of awards at different academic conferences. Dr. Raghunandan Deshpande has 30 publications and 3 patents on aspects related to nanobiotechnology and drug delivery systems. He is awarded as Karnataka Young Scientist for the year of 2010-11 in the field of Nanobiotechnology. He had have delivered several lectures on Medicinal Chemistry, Nanotoxicology and Nanobiotechnology aspects in many International, National level conferences. |
