| Introduction | A more than 50-ish woman who is an artist and has a lot of optimism. Love my family - husband John, daughter Jen, daughter Jess & son Joe. LOOOOOVVVVE being a grandma named Moma to Haley, 7, and Rylie, 5. Love to see a room I designed become reality and the people so happy with it. Gives me goose bumps. Love to go sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. In fact, that's what I do most weekends. Love to ride my bike. I've been trying to go shopping locally on my bike. Sometimes the traffic is a little worrisome, but I find ways to go with minimal traffic and not so many hills. Love sculpting. I did some aluminum & bronze castings and work in clay and copper. Weird things give me inspiration. Right now I'm soldering copper wire to copper tubing to make a giant leaf. Saw a tiny leaf that was curled on itself with interesting ribs as it's structural elements. I want to make it a little malevolent feeling - what's inside? Would I want to be trapped in there? Love to construct and know how a house/building is put together. I like to swing a hammer & saw boards. Make something, change something, problem solve and figure it out. |
