Introduction	After 28 years of serving as a United Church of Christ pastor in three different churches, I received a Lilly Foundation Grant for a sabbatical. From July 1 - October 31, 2008 I traveled and renewed my spirit in the U.S. and South America. This blog was created to share my reflections on that sabbatical time. I am pictured here with my lovely wife, Dianne Hudder, who is also ordained in the United Church of Christ and joined me during the last month of my time in South America. Now the blog continues to share my reflections on finding Sabbath time in daily life. It is an ongoing work exploring the intricacy, delicacy, and difficulty of the Sabbath Tango - a dance that is renewing and challenging, uplifting and frustrating - and now I find, in retirement, continues to be so.
