Introduction	We have always loved to travel. That's why we call ourselves the Meanderthals. We've been fortunate enough to have been able to travel to many places over the years. We always wanted to live in another country and experience another way of life. And we did it. We shed most of our worldly possessions and spent a year teaching English and doing marketing in Hanoi, Vietnam. Now we're back and living in Boise, Idaho. A fate we never envisioned in our wildest imaginings. But here we are. We are Peter Kuhlman and Ophelia Ramirez. And now that we've retired, traveling to places around the world that we've dreamed of visiting all our lives. To experience different cultures and to appreciate more deeply the basic oneness of all humankind. We started in South America, but that was just the beginning. As we continue this blog we want to share with you more about our adventures and how it feels to change your life completely in the late middle ages. Come travel with us!
