| Introduction | I was raised on a cattle and sheep ranch in Central Montana. I miss the ranch style of life, but I don't miss the ranch work. Now I live in the country in what some call upstate New York, which makes me laugh. I'm only about 2 hours from NYC. But I have learned that anything higher than Yonkers is upstate... I'm 56 and enjoying life with hubby of almost 38 years and oldest grand-daughter age 18, a senior in high shook, about ready to launch her college life. When did she grow up, it was just yesterday I was taking her into the nursery after her birth, and having the nurse tell her that she needed to be nice to me because I was the "Cookie Maker" and Grandma's make great cookies. I didn't understand what a responsibility it would be to being a Grandparent.... let alone a great one. Just like her mother she didn't come with a manual, wish me luck. |
